CPE Course: Specially Designed Instruction in Mathematics

Course description
This course is designed to support teachers who work with students with disabilities in implementing specially designed instruction in mathematics. Participants will learn the characteristics of math disability and use this knowledge to plan lessons while embedding evidence-based strategies that make general education curriculum accessible to students with disabilities.
Format
This self-paced course includes six weeks of content running from Monday morning at 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday Night. Participants will view videos, engage in assigned readings, and complete asynchronous assignments/ discussions to earn credit for participation. Log-in credentials will be provided after registration.
CPE/CPD Credit
Earn 3 Continuing Education Credits. Note: It is recommended that you check with your district's certification office before you register to ensure that the course fulfills your professional development requirements.
